In February, Mu Epsilon Omega participated in the 35th Annual O.C. Black History Parade & Cultural Faire in Anaheim, CA.

Mu Epsilon Omega president, Angela Monteilh, led chanting members on the parade route. Decked out in spirited pink and green paraphernalia, members proudly strolled through downtown Anaheim as the crowd cheered with appreciation and admiration.

A few paces behind MEO, was member Daphne Sykes Scott – one of only two African American female judges serving in the Superior Court of Orange County. Daphne proudly waved the American flag atop a vehicle to enthusiastic applause.

Afterwards, members enjoyed the delightful offerings at the cultural faire, including delicious food, musical entertainment, booths promoting health awareness, and information from various community organizations. The event was truly a joyous occasion!
