Mu Epsilon Omega joined members across the country for AKA’s Pink Goes Red Campaign. In recognition of the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day, members wore red to the February chapter meeting to join millions of Americans in the fight against heart disease. During the meeting, members Kenya Smith and Greta Vines-Douglas, conducted a presentation on heart disease, preventive measures and maintenance. Heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined! MEO is committed to encouraging everyone to raise their voices, know their cardiovascular risk, and take action to live longer healthier lives.
