2014 – 2018 International Programs

The 2014-2018 International Program will focus on Launching New Dimensions of Service. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, through its 265,000 members and 986 chapters, will have an opportunity to address community needs with programs in five target areas.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will expand its community presence as a result of these targets, which include International Community Impact Days and our signature enrichment program, ASCEND, which stand for Achievement, Self-Awareness, Communication, Engagement, Networking and Development Skills.

Mu Epsilon Omega Chapter maintains a highly visible presence through service and involvement with Orange County. The chapter has worked to implement various community service programs consistent with the International Programs and goals of the sorority.

This annual bowling event invites you, your family, and friends to enjoy a social and fun with us! Proceeds from this event benefits the MEO Scholarship Fund.


Hats & Gloves Scholarship Tea

Monies raised for this spring fundraiser awards scholarships to deserving high school girls in their senior year in Orange and Los Angeles counties.


MLK Day of Service

Mu Epsilon Omega Chapter participates in the Martin Luther King Day of Service by hosting an annual “Sunday Supper” event at Veteran’s First, a community based non-profit that provides housing and essential services to veterans.


Orange County Beach Clean-up

This annual event partners with Orange County Coastkeeper at Huntington Beach to help keep Orange County beaches safe & clean.


Orange County Heart Walk

Accepting the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke.
