Welcome to MEΩ's website. My name is Lysa Liggins and I am honored to serve as the 16th president of Mu Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Accordingly, I personally invite you to look at our new initiatives, sisterly networks, and upcoming events.

Chartered on June 4, 1978, Mu Epsilon Omega Chapter is in the Fascinating Far Western Region and is the first and only graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha in Orange County, California. Presently, we are comprised of 109 high-achieving, college-educated women who are corporate professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and seasoned retirees. Even more, our award-winning chapter is dedicated to sisterhood while providing service to the Orange County area and the surrounding communities for over 45 years.

Under International President and CEO, Danette Anthony-Reed, our Sorority’s 2022-2026 program theme is "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood". Specifically, the Foundation Initiative, Strengthen Our Sisterhood is designed to enrich the social, economic, and educational well-being of local, national, and international communities.

With this in mind, if you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha in search of a chapter home, please consider visiting Mu Epsilon Omega Chapter. Currently, our chapter meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month, except in the months of July and August.
